The Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes) is reducing the number of its personnel by approximately 30 after cooperation negotiations. Eight people are being made redundant. At the beginning of the negotiations, it was estimated that the number of personnel would be reduced by 45 at most. The Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes) studied in spring 2021 the chemicals in civil masks, i.e. cloth masks and disposable fibre masks, sold to consumers. Tukes asks consumers to return to the seller any I Love Squishies toys that have easily detachable small parts that may pose a risk of choking.
