Tukes authorises the plant protection training and certification providers. Tukes does not provide plant protection certification.

How to apply for authorisation to become a plant protection training and certification provider

Tukes organises day-long training for persons who apply to become plant protection training and certification providers. In this training, Tukes employees tell you about the content of plant protection training and the organisation practices of the training and certification.


Tukes organises this training in February each year. The closer date and programme are published on this website no later than one month before the training.


When you have participated in the training organised by Tukes, fill in the form and apply for an authorisation to become plant protection training and certification provider from Tukes. The authorisation is personal. The authorisation to organise plant protection training and certification is granted against a fee.

Renewing the authorisation

The authorisation to organise plant protection training and certification will remain valid for five years.
When you need a new authorisation

  • fill in the renewal application form of the authorisation and e-mail it to the address ppp (at) tukes.fi
  • participate in further training arranged by Tukes.

Tukes provides further training to training and certification providers who wish to renew their authorisation. Participate in the training within one year from the date when you were granted the certification to provide training or certification.

Fees

The authorisation to organise plant protection training and certification costs

  • 400 e/authorisation if you apply for authorisation to organise either training or certification.
  • 500 e/authorisation if you apply for authorisation to organise trainings or certification.

Training
Participate in training arranged by Tukes.

Plant protection certification
Acquire the plant protection certification at an examination arranged by a certification provider authorised by Tukes, in Finnish.

Application for authorisation
Fill in the form (in Finnish) and e-mail it to the address ppp (at) tukes.fi.

Additional information
If requested, provide additional information.

Personal authorisation
The authorisation to provide plant protection training and certification is personal.

Tukes sends the authorisation
Tukes sends you the authorisation to provide plant protection training and certification, and adds your information to the contact information of plant protection training providers, in Finnish

Valid for five years
You may renew your authorisation by participating in further training and filling in the application for renewing the authorisation
