Exit signs and emergency escape lighting
Exit signs must be clear and their meaning easily recognised and understood. The appearance and general characteristics of exit signs must comply with the Government Decree on Safety Signs at Workplaces and their Minimum Requirements (687/2015).
Maintenance
The maintenance of the signs and lighting of escape routes shall be ensured by regular maintenance. The required measures vary depending on the products and lighting solutions used. Regular maintenance should be included, for example, in the property’s maintenance book so that all personnel responsible for maintenance have access to information on all planned and implemented measures.
