Product Contact Point for Construction
The Product Contact Point for Construction has been established pursuant to Article 72 of the EU Construction Products Regulation (EU) 2024/3110 (CPR 2024), which requires each Member State to designate its own contact point to provide national regulatory information related to construction products. These contact points form an EU wide service network whose purpose is to ensure that economic operators and authorities can easily access reliable information on the requirements applied in different Member States and to support the free movement of construction products within the internal market.
The Product Contact Point for Construction (PCPC) provides economic operators (such as manufacturers, importers and distributors) or the competent authorities of another Member State, at their request, with information on national construction legislation. This information will enable economic operators to decide on the declarations of performance to provide for a CE marked construction product to be able to sell it on the Finnish market.
PCPC provides also information on national legislation on construction products and the transposition and implementation of the Construction Products Regulation.
