Derogations in emergency situations
In emergency situations in plant protection, Tukes may grant an authorisation by derogation for using a specific plant protection product for a maximum of 120 days. Granting an authorisation by derogation requires the occurrence of a pest threatening the crops that cannot be averted with any products included in the register or by any other reasonable means.
Tukes may grant an authorisation by derogation for a product that is not authorised for use in Finland. Tukes may grant an authorisation by derogation for a product that has been authorised for use in Finland but for other uses than those the derogation applies to.
