Instructions for meeting the record-keeping requirements for plant protection products published
The Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes) has published a new web page on record-keeping for plant protection products. The page contains instructions for meeting the record-keeping requirements that entered into force at the beginning of 2026, such as recording EPPO codes and BBCH growth stages.
The record-keeping requirements for professional users of plant protection products were specified at the beginning of 2026. The new requirements, especially the use of EPPO codes in identifying plant species and recording the BBCH growth stages of crops, have prompted a lot of questions.
We have published a new web page, Record-keeping for plant protection products, where we provide more detailed instructions on the new requirements and how to keep records.
We welcome feedback on the instructions on the record-keeping requirements.
